October 1 is Sake Day in Niigata, the Land of Sake! Sake Day!
It's a day off from drinking, but we have to drink!
This year, we toasted with Mine-no-Hakubai's Ryoko Autumn Agari!
I'm most happy that Hasegawa-ya opened in front of Niigata Station, making it easier to buy Ryoko.
This is a superb brand by Touji Ijima, a brewer from Aizu.
It has a fresh apple aroma with a gorgeous, yet calm, mature flavor,
The refreshing, light, and refreshing taste
The mouthfeel is light and refreshing, with a rich and tasty astringency,
The acidity is moderately juicy,
The refreshing bitterness tightens up the taste.
It has a crisp, delicious mouthfeel,
Delicious!
I like many of the autumn-aged sakes because of their matured umami, but this one is also delicious.
The little kawa choko (small cup) is cute.
It has a nice taste.
