The alcohol smell of the sake was there, and when I put it in my mouth, I could feel the unique dryness and the lingering aftertaste that lasted long after it went down my throat.
However, after the second sip, maybe because I got used to the taste, or maybe because I ate something with a strong flavor, I didn't feel the dryness and the lingering aftertaste as much.
