Slightly gassy
Slightly grapefruity top note
The same fruity aroma, moderate sweetness, and mild rice flavor as the topping, spreads pichijuwatto with a refreshing citrus-like acidity, and finishes with a slight citrus-like bitterness.
The sweetness is not too harsh and gaseous, and the acidity and umami spread in a refreshing balance. It goes well with a meal, and is also refreshing and delicious on its own.
It went well with Tororo rice, two kinds of pickled Maltese tuna, sashimi, and leek ball.
