New Year's Eve and New Year's Day Sake: Akabu
I wanted to drink Junmai Ginjo newborn, but
but it was always sold out!
As a result, I got this one, which is made from Iwate sake rice Yunokou polished up to 40%.
It was the first time to drink it in a wine glass.
Since it is a daiginjo, the aroma is very strong!
When you drink it, it has a full and elegant sweetness.
You can tell it is the sweetness of rice.
The umami is also strong.
It finishes with a dry aftertaste.
It's been a long time since I've tasted akabu.
There is no doubt that it is delicious, but
but it is not as overwhelmingly my favorite as before.
I'd like to try Amami Junmai Daiginjo.
