I saved this Genmai for a long time. I opened the bottle because I had saved it too long.
It has a nice aroma, umami and bitterness, and goes great with bonito tataki with a lot of shiso leaves and myoga (Japanese ginger) on top of the vegetables. I am so happy.
I've been drinking a lot of sake outside lately, so I haven't been able to have a relaxing drink at home, but it's nice to drink it at home with your favorite side dishes.
I had an experience at work where there were people who wanted to make me look bad, probably because of my character, and I thought it was okay to have a banquet in my department anymore. I guess I shouldn't clunk or cry. It's not easy 😓.
