Store where purchased Sakeho Shichikura (Sapporo, Japan)
Silent when opened
No gas feeling
Slight pineapple-like top note
The same clean aroma, moist rice flavor, and mild sweetness as on the first sip, spreading out with a moderate acidity, and then quickly quenched with a little alcohol spiciness and a slight bitterness.
It is a slightly mellow and refreshing sake that can be enjoyed on its own, but is better served with a meal.
It went well with grilled herring, char siu pork with leeks (recipe from "Boys' Gohan"), fried eggs, simmered pumpkin, and stewed motsu (pork cutlet).

Good evening, Masaaki Sapporo-san. Your photos are always wonderful, but this one is exquisite with the Yamato Shizuku logo blending in with the mountains at sunset 😊The sake is just the right amount of fruity to go with the meal.

Good evening, Hirupeco-san! Thank you very much. Some say I'm just bored...lol...but this sake tasted better with a meal than by itself 🍶.
