No way! With such a happy news...I'm sure you know what sake to open when my daughter's birthday 🎉 coincides with our family news 🤭 lol
Well, today is Thursday...and we opened a bottle of Jikin 🍶, the perfect sake for such a happy day 😁!
When we opened the bottle...a popping sound and a fruity ginjo aroma wafted in immediately, even though it was fired-in 🤤.
And then a sip... a hint of piquancy, sweetness, and umami without any cloying taste... and an aftertaste that goes away as if nothing happened ✨.
I also feel a slight bitterness, but it never seems to get in the way... I can only say one word: "Delicious 😋" ❗️
I was originally going to compare the luxurious Yoshikawa Yamadanishiki and Tojo Yamadanishiki for the New Year's holiday... but I think it's okay to open it today....
My only concern is that more and more of these delicious sake will be known and consumed overseas and the domestic distribution will decrease, become unavailable, or increase in price 😭....
It's been a while since I've had a Jikin, but I'm sure it will be in the Hall of Fame for me personally 😆.
