Purchased at a liquor store.
This was my first visit to this liquor store, which seems to be an authorized distributor of Shinmasa and other sake brands in Fukuoka. They also had Kuroryu, Nabeshima, Mutsu Hachisen, Yuzuru, Keiraku, Tensei, and others. They also had Sono Kangiku, which is very popular right now, so I definitely want to buy some next time I visit.
This time, I wanted to try Tasake, which I have been wanting to drink for a long time. The rarity is very, very rare in some places.
Cold sake.
Slightly floral aroma.
It has a medium mouthfeel, and although it is dry, it has a voluptuous umami flavor of rice, and the balance is very good.
The aftertaste is long.
We enjoyed it with fried horse mackerel. It seems to go well with dishes with strong flavors.
Suitable for advanced sake drinkers.
