There was a fizz when first opened. Smells fruity with an apple taste then sharpness with long lingering flavour on the first day.
Day 3 it was more alive, with fizz on opening (supposed to be pasteurised), still apple with musk melon before a dry finish. Enhanced the taste of homemade mixed mushrooms fettuccini with truffles (it’s truffle season here).
Day 10 it was past its prime; less fruity with a less balanced sharpness.
