もよもよ
Niigata is a sake brewery located at the foot of Mt. Naeba and is famous for its sweet sake. Apparently, they are very particular about single-stage brewing, raw sake, and bag pressing. The label has a nice circular pattern of scattered leaves.
I had heard that the lactic acidity of the single-stage brewing process was strong and sour, but this sake was not like that at all; it had a nice sweetness, sourness, and richness. When poured into a glass, it was cloudy and may have been unfiltered raw sake, although there was no description. 14% low alcohol and fruity. It had a mango and peachiness to it.
It is a good sake for people who are not used to drinking sake.
