I had imagined it to be refreshing and dry, but it was a very tasty sake with a hint of sweetness.
It is often recommended to be paired with fish. I paired it with shime saba (mackerel) sashimi, and it certainly washed away the slightly raw feeling after eating, but did not interfere with the flavor of the fish.
I guess it would go well with sushi as well.
I thought I would give it a try.
