Standing bar MATSUZAKI
39
Kumakichi
Yesterday, we went to Standing Bar Matsuzaki's 2nd anniversary event at Kawagoe Station. We were able to enjoy half-price limited edition sake for three days, so we went to see the event... But it was hot yesterday, 38 degrees Celsius in Kawagoe City.... However, it was hot yesterday and the temperature in Kawagoe City was a scorching 38 degrees Celsius. I was excited to see that the "2nd Anniversary Limited Edition Sake" was available at half price from June 24 to 26. We took refuge from the hot outside and had a glass of kin-kin nama-zake. Since it was the first day of the opening, we were there to open the sealed bottle and enjoy a glass... The chilled sake was so delicious that it was almost too good to be true! On a side note, there was a sake-tasting quiz event held during the three days, so I took part in it! The content of the quiz was to guess the rice used to make the sake for 330 yen, and the winners were chosen by lottery to receive a direct pass and the right to purchase Jikin (the content of the quiz changed every day for three days). My wife and I participated in the event, and we both got the same answer! Win or lose, we're thankful we got to drink a glass of Hanamup! We left the rest to luck and went home after a day of sightseeing, feeling dizzy!

Good evening, Kumakichi. I often go to Shinjuku but I've only been to Ekimae a couple of times and I didn't know about this event, sounds like a lot of fun and you can drink a lot 😀, well, it's hot 😅.

Good evening, Harry Sakeboy! I usually visit the Urawa Parco store, but this was my second time to visit the Ekimae store. It seemed like they were having regular events.
