Kagamiyama is a local sake from my hometown of Saitama and my personal sake of choice.
The first thing that surprised me was that it had almost the same specs as the junmai sake (gold label) I drank the other day, but with a completely different taste 🤩🤩.
While the Junmai sake was dry and had a great rice flavor, this new sake tasted like a fruit.
While the Junmai sake is dry and has a great rice flavor, this new sake is juicy and fruity, like biting into a fruit 🍈🍌🍈🍌.
The aroma is like melon and young bananas, and the palate finishes with a pineapple sensation like a hana-yori🍍🍍.
If you like huahuang yang yang, or if you like huahuang yang but don't like that sweetness💧, I might recommend this one because it is less sweet 😁☝️.

I drank this Shiboritate the other day too.
It's totally different from fire-roasted 😅.
It has a juicy fruity taste but not too sweet.
This sake lees cream cheese is also good 👍

Fire-roasted is classic and good, but this one is fruity and delicious on its own. 😋🍶 The moderate sweetness is good. 👍️
