It's been a long time since I've been to my hometown, Koten. It's a Daiginjo, so it's a little expensive, but I bought it.
It is easy to drink. It is a refreshing summer drink. It has a sweetness to it that is fruity. If it's in the mid-1,000 yen range, it's possible to buy it, but it's more expensive.
I'd like to drink it chilled to the bone, but the lukewarm heat soon destroys it.
For the locals, sake is so widely known as Takaten, but they rarely have the opportunity to drink anything other than the ordinary sake, Takaten Karakuchi. But there are other good ginjo class sake breweries in Koshu, so...
