Happy New Year m(_ _)m
What? What is it? Well, you know, that thing, that thing.
When the day dawns, it's that thing, you know.
Let's see, what was it called?
I wonder if it will be a few more years before I can say that.
On the way home, I hit "Shiraku Tachikawa's All Night Nippon Gold", so I'm a drunk and my words are being pulled out.
The state of emergency has been declared, and today I can finally go out and drink with a big smile on my face.
Have you been drinking?
I tried to find a yakitori restaurant near my office, and found this one on Google...it looks like a bar wanderer....
Although they don't have a lot of sake, there are a few choices that make you feel like you're in the right place.
After the beer, I had my first glass of Echigo-Tsurukame Junmai Ginjo Wine Yeast Brew. It was served cold.
It has a fruity aroma and a sour taste like wine.
The sweetness and umami of the rice is also very apparent, but the aroma is faint.
Is this what wine yeast fermentation is all about?
If you can't drink white wine, but just want to get a feel for it, this might be a good choice for you.
The yakitori I picked up was also quite good.
And now for the second glass...
