We had just purchased another bottle of Otters from the Otters' brewery, so we compared Otters 😀.
This is BLUE, which Otters started making in the US 😀.
I was surprised to see that the taste of BLUE is quite different from that of Toryumon 🤣.
It's a delicious sake, but I don't think the name "Ottersai" is quite right 😅.
I'd like to ask the brewer next time I talk to him if it's the taste made for American tastes or if it's the difference in water 😀.
By the way, I heard when I visited Kido the other day that they are going to start making sake in the US too 😀.
Otters make their sake next door in New York, but Kido-san is planning to start on the West Coast😇.
But Heiwa Shuzo said they won't ship under the name Kido because the water is still different 😀.

Good morning, Yasube-san ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀.
I see that you can buy the newest "Otter Blue" at the brewery 😲.
I'd like to taste the early version I bought before, the facility and water were imported from the US and the sake rice from Japan, but now the sake rice is produced locally.

Hi Gyve 😀
I see what you mean 😀.
I bought it at the brewery's store, thinking that BLUE is sold only in Yamaguchi prefecture, even though it is also sold in Kansai 😀.
It seems to be a mixture of domestic and US rice 😇.

Hi Yasbay 😃.
Otter BLUE has a different taste: ❗️
I avoided it because of the import price, but now my interest in drinking it has exploded: ⤴️

Hi Hiro, good evening 😀
I think it's good if you think it's a different kind of sake 🤣.
But considering the price, I don't think I'll have it next time😅.
