It has been a while since we had a get-together of 7 people at Kaca, where you can enjoy Yamagata's famous hippari udon noodles and a variety of Japanese sake 😉.
We had asked for sashimi platter in advance and told everyone that we were all looking forward to the udon noodles 🤗.
We ordered a few servings of each of our favorite snacks to share and enjoyed the sake of our choice 🥰.
We had a hard time deciding whether to have the first glass of Jyushiyo or Jikin and chose Jikin 😄.
I had encountered the same brand and rice ratio in the unfiltered draft, but this was my first encounter with the fire-brewed version, so I chose it 😍.
For sashimi, we had a slice or two each of sea bream, local octopus, tuna (red and medium fatty tuna, Japanese anchovy, bonito, and horse mackerel. As I had asked for, they served us a variety of seasonal fish to choose from 😃.
I think I could have had 2 or 3 different kinds of sake just from this.
After all, Jikin is delicious 😋.
