It is a limited edition sake made by Mr. Shibata, the chief brewer of Kido, and the brewers, and it is not released every year. The regular Kido is reasonably priced, which is good for the wallet, but this one is a good price. This is a very reasonable price, but I am sure that is the reason why they are so particular about their sake.
When you open the bottle, you can smell a very nice fruity aroma. The taste is very sweet and fruity, like amazake (sweet sake). Although it is a fruit, the acidity is not that strong, and I thought it was somewhat lychee-like.
The flavor is not too weak, so I think it goes well with salty sweets. I recommend drinking it chilled. It is a very tasty sake.
