Eiko Fuji Sanctuary
I had a chance to drink Sanctuary at Starbucks before, and now that I have a chance to drink it at home, I opened it 😋.
It's a high spec unfiltered raw sake made from Yamada-Nishiki polished up to 35%.
When poured into a glass, it has a fresh and lush aroma like squeezed melon or strawberry 🤤.
The mouthfeel is silky and the freshness is emphasized by a slight gassiness that is typical of unfiltered sake, and the sweetness and acidity are in harmony without fighting each other.
As the temperature rises, the fruity aroma swells and becomes sweeter and juicier 🥳.
As expected of Eiko Fuji's flagship 👏.
It was a very satisfying sake. ☺️
