We received a bottle of Sakasui no Dawn Junmai Daiginjo.
The nose has a ginjo aroma of sweetness, like that of apples with honey.
In the mouth, the sweetness rushes into the mouth, and while it is juicy and deliciously sweet, it finishes with a tangy, slightly effervescent feeling that is typical of new brews.
It is still delicious!
As one would expect from a daiginjo, it is full of umami and has no cloying taste.
I have had this sake every year, and it is always delicious. I almost finished the bottle before I realized how quickly I was drinking it with locally grown fresh shirasu (lol).
