Real-time postings on the way home from a business trip (2) (last).
I bought two bottles of Ippongi and got on the Shinkansen, so I'll end my little party with this Yamagata Masamune Junmai Sake Retro Label 🚅🍶.
This is a sake that I totally jacked 🍶.
The label design is too cool drunk 😁.
The exterior is crystal with a slightly pale gold tint.
The aroma is sweet and refreshing.
Aroma of moderately ripe melon and banana.
It has the freshness of koji with a fine acidity.
The rice aroma is about that of rice cakes.
The taste is...
The texture is smooth on the palate.
When you taste it, you may think it is sweet for a moment, but then the acidity spreads and leaves.
The sweetness is quite subdued, and while there are nuances in the aroma and the spread of the acidity that remind one of sake, the clean, refreshing umami is clearly perceptible.
The acidity is refreshingly refreshing, with a pleasantly intoxicating stimulation, and it finishes light and crisp.
The lingering aftertaste is mild.
Slightly classic, it has a taste that makes you want to try heating it up.
When paired with Taiyaki, the crispness rounds out a bit and the umami of Dewa Sanzu is more apparent, which is also not bad: ☺️
Well, how can you not like it when you combine what you like 😊.
We had a fine healing time 🍶.
Thank you for the treat ☺️

Thanks for the business trip, Aladdin 😊.
I like the one-batch flight, it's so cute and balanced with the label... and it's like Aladdin to combine it with taiyaki 😆👍And it's quintessential that you've reviewed it properly on the drinking iron ✨.

Good evening, Pon 😃.
I can enjoy a lot of different kinds of sake with a single bottle 🍶😊.
Drinking alone on the bullet train is rather good for tasting as it gives me time to face the sake!
Wakaba's Taiyaki, a complete hobby of mine, is delicious ☺️
