Aeon has a dark horse!
When I went to Aeon to buy some alcohol and looked at the refrigerator, I saw a box of Brahma. I had never had it before, but everyone seemed to be enjoying it, so I figured I couldn't go wrong and bought it.
A slight aroma of ginjo. The attack is very clean and simple on the palate.
However, it is followed by a fine, unctuous sweetness. It was followed by a slight alcohol taste and bitterness. The taste completely exceeded our expectations.
Usually I have one glass of sake for dinner and two for a good sake, but today I went on to the third glass, which was served in a tin cup I bought in Hyogo Prefecture.
Fukui Prefecture is known for its Kuroryu, but Bon, the second best sake at Sake-no-wa, was an excellent product with a fine sweetness that was on a different line from Kuroryu. The taste was great, but the price was surprisingly low for a daiginjo made from 100% Hyogo Prefecture's special A rice, which is not much more expensive than junmai ginjos.
It is a wonder that Brahma is still in the refrigerator at Aeon. I was satisfied.
