This is the first Yamahai brewing at Fukuji.
I got it at a liquor store I happened to visit the day after I read Oyaji-san's post, but I chose this one instead of the Yamadanishiki version.
At that time, I had not yet received any information about the Hokkaido Yamadanishiki, so I passed on it.
I regret that I should have bought both.
This osake has the strength typical of Mr. Fukuji and the acidity typical of Yamahai.
It may not be enough for genuine fans of Fukuji, but it was a well-balanced delicious sake with a beautiful mouthfeel and very easy to drink ❗️.
My partner who does not like Yamahai sake drank it at a high pace.
It is positioned as a test brew, so we are looking forward to seeing how it will deepen in the future.

Hello, Oyaji-san!
I managed to get a bottle of Kobayashi Shuzo's, but I wanted to drink Fukuji's too!
But still, Yamadanishiki in Hokkaido... I'm not sure if I should be happy about it or not.

Good morning, Oyaji ❗️
I see that it is Yamadanishiki produced in Ashibetsu. That area certainly seems to be a particularly hot area in Hokkaido.
