There was an overpriced sake that I had never seen before, but I tried it.
First of all, it had a beautiful amber color.
When I drank it, I found it had a strong taste.
It was like a sweetpotato shochu, which is different from a barrel sake. It is not my favorite sake.
I have been traumatized by sweetpotato shochu since I had a reverse reaction to it in the past (laugh).
I googled it and found out that it is a sake released in 2023 with Yosuke Kubozuka as the ambassador, made from organically grown sake rice and blended from three different types of sake produced by Fukumitsuya, a certified organic sake brewery. I was even more surprised when I saw the list price.
I can't afford to buy it myself.
There are still so many sake that I don't know about!
