The 24th day of the month is the Winter Solstice. The sake of choice was Zanzou Horai's special junmai Dewa Sanzan. The seasonal appetizer was yuzu-scented buri daikon (yellowtail and radish). It has a fruity aroma like a pear. The acidity stands out in a good way. It is also full-bodied. We are happy to find that the label matches the image of the aroma and taste. I would have preferred a more fruity snack.
