It's New Year's, so there's good sake in the bottle 😆.
But it's also very pricey 🤣.
The smell is a bit ethanol-y 🙁 .
But it's at a level where you don't mind it as you drink it: 🙂↕️
The taste is sweet and sour, pulling the acidity and clear and transparent.
We had it with yakitori sauce and it has a fatness of flavor that is not defeated by the sauce.
However, because of the thicker flavor, it felt heavier down the throat. 🏋️♀️
I thought on my own that the authenticity of not having sweetness all over the place is very Hokuriku-like 😆.
