Today, I went to a sake wholesaler's exhibition at a certain place in Tokyo.
I work for a sake wholesaler, not in the restaurant business, but they invited me to the event and I was allowed to sample as much as I wanted during working hours. It was a bonus mission. I was selected to participate in the event.
It had been a long time since Corona, and there were many booths for wine, beer, shochu, and sake tasting.
I visited about 10 sake booths.
I visited about 10 sake booths, including Imadaiji, Kinshi-Haii, Kiminoi, Sawahime, Jurakudai, Popular Ichi, Tamanboast, Kamotsuru, Naekaya, and many more.
It is fun and educational to drink sake while talking with the brewer.
I'm sorry to say that I'm not in the restaurant business or anything, but I'm just an ordinary user 😅.
When I visited Kimi no Ii's booth, I was present.
I entered the conversation by telling them, "I have a can of Honjozo Nama sake in my fridge right now👍.
The "kanzuri" pickled enoki mushrooms were a dish that went terribly well with sake, and I wanted to get some again.
I went home and drank it for dinner 😌.
The regular "kanzuri" was ready in the fridge, so I matched it with chilled tofu.
Different from Kikusui, raw sake in an aluminum can👍.
It has a full-bodied flavor that is typical of sake from the Joetsu area in Niigata Prefecture.

Kanzuri, a fermented chili pepper seasoning, is a must-try.
It is said to have originated from the time of Kenshin Uesugi.
