もよもよ
Yamama is a Niigata sake that people who like it like tokoten. There is no year-round sake, and each tank is numbered and exhibited. I feel the romance in the fact that it is not always the same sake, but a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
When describing this sake, one often hears the word "strong! This is a word that is often heard when describing this sake, and it makes sense when you try it. It has a fruity, dark flavor with a hint of sweetness. I have the impression that while they say it is a once-in-a-lifetime encounter, these flavors are roughly the same.
The people I was drinking it with also seemed to find Yamama delicious, and I think it is one that I can recommend to those who are not accustomed to drinking Japanese sake. It was also enjoyed by a lady who happened to be with us who is a fan of unfiltered, unfiltered, raw sake, so although it is a fire-aged sake, its taste may be more towards that side of sake.
