Tatenokawa's Mu-Ga is composed of six Mu's. No filtration, no water added, no heat, no bubbles, and no intervals, which means it is immediately packed, no self. The red bottle is my favorite snow goddess, and this is one I was going to try once it was released.
It is such a lively sake that the lid pops vigorously for two or three days after opening the bottle. It has a fresh aroma. As for the taste, it is quite refreshing. You don't feel the alcohol taste and it has a pleasant acidity. It is a sake that can be drunk smoothly, feeling like a sports drink without anything else.
I did not drink it with anything in particular, but I think it is a delicious sake when served cold, so I think it would go well with sashimi or sushi. It is also versatile enough to be paired with white sauces and other strong flavored dishes.

Muga is refreshingly fruity and not too sweet, which I think is the latest trend. I quite liked the type. I would like to try other rice lineups.
