Limited edition sake from a liquor store.
I missed out on drinking it last time, so I'm thankful they are selling it again.
The aroma is citrusy and sour. Like grapefruit soda.
When you drink it, it is sizzling 🫧.
Huh? Not much grapefruitiness...instead, lots of sweetness from the rice. Can you say it is typical of mizu-hashiro?
It has a rich and gentle sweetness like amazake, plus it's fizzy, so you can drink it in gulps.
I was surprised when I realized it was almost gone.
It was even better with cheese.
