This sake is made from rice grown in Chiba Prefecture, with So no Mai cut down to 29%.
From the label, you can see the 'X' reflected on the surface of the water in Kujukuri and it looks wonderful. It's a bit expensive and tastes as good as the super limited edition it's named after.
The freshly opened aroma was also surprisingly fruity. This is the best level I've ever enjoyed before drinking.
The taste is slightly sweet with a clean aftertaste, so it's best to drink it on its own rather than with a meal.
It's the first time I've ever felt like I was wasting my time by drinking it with rice, and it's a delicate sake with that kind of flavor.
