I was curious about this sake because I heard it was named after Mr. Katsumasa Takagaki, who retired from Sanko Masamune at the end of his tenure at Yoshimizu Brewery, and found on Instagram that it had arrived at a nearby Tokushima restaurant! I immediately went to drink it 🍶. The first aroma has a hint of acidity. In the mouth, it has a mellow acidity with a full-bodied umami flavor and a moderate sweetness, and the acidity is felt tinglingly on the tip of the tongue, and then it finishes. It is slightly dry and has a good sharpness. I have never had a sake from Mr. Takagaki's active period, but I was fascinated by the characteristic acidity (especially Sanko Tenpyo) brewed by his disciples... 😌. This sake was once sold after Mr. Takagaki moved to Sanko Masamune, but after his retirement, it is now being made again by his apprentices. I'd like to try Hosui's Yamahai Junmai, but they don't have a distributor in Tokyo😅. I'll have to go on a sake drinking trip to Tokushima 🍶😆😆.

Good morning, Mr. Matsuchiyo😊I was curious about it too! I've been looking for a place to eat in Tokushima, but I can't find a Tokushima restaurant in my neighborhood like yours 🥲.

Good morning, Kotori-san🐥. I heard that Takakakigi is a special order product of an association of sake dealers called "Sake and Food Takumi no Kai" and Otsuka Shoten in Takasaki is the only store in the Kanto region that handles it. The tingling sensation on the tip of the tongue was similar to that of Sanko Snake Shape 😊.
