Once in a lifetime visit to Ise (3rd time)
I was blessed with good weather and was able to walk from the outer shrine to the inner shrine to greet the gods, and I was also able to eat a beef bowl at Tonputsu, which I visit almost every time I come to Ise!
I bought sake to take home at Morishita Sake Shop.
We bought some sake to take home at Morishita Sake Shop and had a three-drink comparison of ZAKU near Ise-shi Station☺.
Junmai Gen no Tomo!
The aroma is of green apple.
It has a firm mouthfeel with umami, followed by some bitterness and acidity.
The taste is robust, but the fresh apple flavor makes it easy to drink, yet satisfying.
Junmai Ginjo Sano-no-Tomo
Sweeter aroma with a hint of honey than Junmai.
The mouthfeel is smooth, and the taste is moist and fruity with a sweet and sour flavor.
It has a lingering sourness and minerality.
Junmai Ginjo Z
The sweet and sour taste of lactic acid beverage is different from that of Kanade-no-tomo!
The aftertaste is interesting with a little bitterness and a full-bodied umami flavor.
