disry
Today, while I was dashing off to buy some koei chrysanthemum with Sairai during my lunch break, I had to give up on the way due to a work problem that occurred. Too bad.
We got ourselves back on track and opened a bottle of the new Koei-Kiku. Incidentally, Shinjuku Isetan seems to have started selling Koei Kiku.
The aroma was of discreet muscat and lactic acid. The gasiness is not so strong.
Sourness is strong. Not much sweetness. Quite dry.
The acidity continues and is joined by bitterness, ending with a short aftertaste.
As rumored, it is a unique Koei Kiku. Not my favorite flavor, but I thought this would be a good mid-meal sake.
