Almost no smell. In the mouth you get a light sense of maturity and rice flavor, with just the right amount of bitterness and acidity in the aftertaste. A very easy to drink example of junmai sake. As you savor it, you can taste the molasses-like sweetness.
When I asked for another cup warmed up, it had too much of a banana flavor that I didn't like. The banana flavor decreases as it cools. Cold sake seemed to be the right choice for me.
