Today, the last day, we went to Hirosaki city and Hirosaki Castle!
It has been three and a half years since I became aware of Matsue Castle. It's been more than 10 years since my first visit to Matsumoto Castle. I'm so excited to have stepped on the 12 existing castle towers that I've longed to see 🙌🙌🙌🙌!
The majestic Mt. Iwaki seen from the castle. The historical appearance of the castle. And the rich gradation of the autumn leaves as they change to fall colors was a sight to behold 😌.
After lunch, we enjoyed sake time with Hirosaki's specialties! We enjoyed three different kinds of sake ✨.
Let's start with Kikusen on the left.
Aroma of pear and apple.
It is smooth and clear with a mineral taste. The umami with sourness comes slowly. The crispness that disappears nicely. It was a perfect taste for a meal!
