Last night was the fifteenth night of the year.
That didn't stop our family from doing anything, and we spent the evening netflixing from curry for dinner.
Well, this year's Kawaguchi natto is Sasanishiki!
Last year it was Miyamanishiki with a red label, so I decided to go with the yellow label.
Slightly sake-like on the upper aroma.
The first taste is sourness and umami that comes right from the start. It is different from what I expected, but it is also delicious. The taste is refreshingly spicy and umami, and the salty acidity and bitterness finish it off nicely.
Kawaguchi natto is also sold at antenna stores in Tokyo. It is no exaggeration to say that Kawaguchi Natto is the most famous natto in Miyagi Prefecture. Please try it for yourself.
It is produced at the home of my former teacher when I was in junior high school.
Thank you very much for your kindness!

Colonel Sal 🫡, Kawaguchi natto sounds good. I kind of want to try it with sasanishiki and shiso rolls!

Hello WOM 😁
You are a connoisseur to know about the local food, shiso maki 😄.
Shiso miso" wrapped in miso and fried until crispy is good, but I prefer "mustard roll" made of mustard pickled daikon wrapped in shiso 🤘.
