It's December from tomorrow. I'm surprised. This year has been a year of change, and I've been so busy that I don't know what I've been doing, but I think it's thanks to Corona that I've been able to learn a new skill, drinking at home. Of course, I also love drinking at restaurants. Of course, I love to drink at restaurants, too.
Now, this is a Tokyo sake I found at Claude's in Esaka. I'm secretly trying to conquer the whole country, and it's not often that I get to see sake from Tokyo breweries, so I bought this without any prior knowledge.
The taste... Immediately after you put it in your mouth, you feel the sweetness for a moment, but it soon changes to a strong sourness. The acidity lingers for a long time and finishes with a bitterness like after drinking grapefruit juice. It is a sake with an unexpected punch.
