Hirasen is the oldest brewery in Tohoku, founded in 1487 during the Muromachi period!
We decided to make our first Akita sake this year from this traditional brewery!
Using Association 77 yeast, it tastes like white wine!
A perfect balance of fruity acidity and juicy sweetness 😋.
Miyamanishiki's clean flavor and sharpness are surprisingly good balance 👌
The sweetness is smooth with a hint of acidity, so it can also be matched with Osechi dishes🍀*.
My partner didn't like it because it was too acidic💦.
My daughter was delighted with the taste 😁.
On a side note, New Year's Eve Soba Noodles,
It's becoming a standard dish, the strongest Donbei 🔥.
This is enough to satisfy me 😘.
