[Fukui Spring New Sake Festival (9)
The event was coming to an end with a series of sake from Ishikawa.
We decided to try something a little different and had a drink here 🍶.
Hayaseura Special Junmai Sake "Umi-no-Otoko
This is an old sake that has been stored in the brewery for 3 years and was served warmed 😁.
The aroma of rice flavor, the gentle texture on the tongue, the impact of the flavor at the back of the throat, the warm aftertaste of heated sake, and the bitter taste at the back of the throat at the end........
It is a "man of the sea" respecting fishermen who work at sea, and I feel that it is strongly made to go well with local fatty seafood and salty preserved food 😋.
The entrée sold out unexpectedly quickly, so I emptied it before I could check its true value💦.
