A little crisp and dry.
The aroma is rather refreshing. It has the umami of rice, which is typical of junmai.
It's been a while since I've had something like this, since I've been drinking only the more characteristic Honkin. It's just plain delicious.
Well, when it comes to heated sake in Suwa, I'm a big fan of Takaten Karakuchi or Karakuchi Taichi, so there are other tastes besides the challenging ones.
Oh, is it challenging because it is a hanpukai sake? I don't know.
