You don't drink anything from Aomori despite your user name, don't you? I had to go and try a local sake from Aomori, which is not usually available at the stores I usually visit! The aroma is very mild, and the brewing water has a smooth, Aomori-style mouthfeel, with ripe sweetness like prunes and bananas mixed with richness and acidity. It also has a nice sharpness and not a bad aftertaste. Nama sake and nama-hashimoto sake are good, but sometimes I think there are not so many sake that are so calm and relaxing, or in Buddhist terminology, "Rokune". Thank you again for the sake tonight!
