Banshuikkon純米吟醸 SPRING SHINE 生
ぽわんぽわんI drank Banshu Issen for the first time at home.
As the label suggests, it has a light, spring-like sweetness and a fluffy spread of umami. Since it is a draft sake, it also has a mild taste, but that too flows smoothly. When the bottle is opened, there is a small pop and a moderate fizz. Everything is light and cohesive, yet it still retains its Banshu Ikkyo character.
Tonight we will have hand-rolled sushi. Squid, swordfish, horse mackerel, etc. go well with ginger soy sauce. ❤️ It also goes well with sushi rice. ‼️
