Purchased at a liquor store.
It is another brand of Izumi Shuzo, the brewer of Senzuke, which is often seen in Osaka. I bought it because I thought it was not so common in Fukuoka, but I heard that there are many stores in the Kansai area that carry it...
The rarity of this sake is higher outside of the Kansai area.
Cold sake.
Fruity yet subdued aroma.
Refreshing taste of summer sake, but the full-bodied thickness gradually increased later. Aftertaste is normal.
It has been a while since I have had a sake from Hyogo Prefecture, but the strength and dryness characteristic of Hyogo are sound, even though it is rather modern. I would like to try Senzuke next.
I recommend it with light dishes.
It has a taste that can be enjoyed by beginners and intermediate sake drinkers alike.
