We had Masumi Junmai Ginjo Usu Nigori.
It is active nigori. So we carefully opened the bottle. I could see bubbles of water bubbling up. This makes me excited~⤴️
The aroma is a gentle ginjo aroma with a sake-like flavor.
In the mouth, the bubbles and a hint of sweetness spread quickly, but the final taste is dry with a touch of effervescence.
Mmmm, delicious!
It has a fizzy, tingling sensation all the way through, and since it has less of the sweetness felt in the first attack, it's perfect as a food wine 😊.
Today's entrée is the cod roe crab that we didn't get to eat at New Year's 🦀It goes really well with it👍.
Actually, this is my first time drinking Masumi, but I see it is from Nagano Prefecture! Nagano prefecture has a lot of good sake 🍶🍶.
