Today, the fish shop I usually go to had some good chub mackerel 🐟, so I bought some. I chose this one to go with it👍 The aroma is fresh and slightly fruity. When you put it in your mouth, it has a refreshing taste with a hint of sourness. On a hot day like today, it is best to drink it cooled down to a crisp 😊. I started with the seared sardine sashimi. Eat it with a dash of sudachi (a Japanese citrus fruit). The delicious skin, plump texture, and light white meat flavor complement and synergize with the sake. Delicious 😋. Next, grilled with salt. The fat from the skin of the fish stands out and enhances the flavor of the sake. This is delicious. ‼️ Personally, I think I prefer the grilled version. Rice polishing ratio: 55%.
