Like one previous post, here's a birthday toast 🍶.
Once again, I learned a lot from the seminars yesterday and the day before!
The first day was about pairings and the second day was about sake-dipping tea!
I learned how to approach sake from different angles, such as heating sake, pairing sake with olive oil and sansho (Japanese pepper) 😊.
I even got his autograph 😁.
Like the Hakuryu from the previous post, I chose one with a dragon in the name!
This is my first time drinking at home!
Cold sake.
Aroma of strawberries!
A hint of cheesiness.
Slightly yellowish
Easy to drink.
But it has a soft body with a sense of volume.
The astringent aftertaste is a characteristic of Yume-no-Kou? (I also had a similar aftertaste with Aizu Nakasyo and Sasasamune...)
The owner said it might be good lukewarm, so I warmed it up.
The umami spread gently and the aftertaste became sharp!
