Masamune hunters go today🍶.
I heard that "Houmon Masamune" is only available in a limited number of restaurants 🤔.
There is a sticker on the bottle that says "For Special Food & Beverage outlets" and apparently it is true that it is "only for limited outlets" 😳.
And most surprisingly, the manufacturer is "Shirataka" ❗️
I was surprised to see that Shirataka was making Masamune 🙄 and then asked for Masamune 🍶 and Oden 🍢.
The father recommended heated sake: ♨️
It has a thin, well-rounded sweetness.
It's clean with little hackles and no alcohol 😙.
There is a slight astringency in the aftertaste, as if it were squeezed out.
It is supposed to be a special honjozo, but I don't sense any alcohol addition at all. Amazing 🤩.
The rice used for the sake is very luxurious and is said to be special A Yamada-Nishiki. It's also very luxurious.
By the way, the oden soup stock has a good amount of bonito. With sake, the salt content goes away and the broth becomes more delicious. Oden is also amazing 🤩.
I later found out that they have been featured in Michelin for their oden 😊.
No wonder it's so tasty.
It was right after GW and I was the only customer. I was able to enjoy a relaxing and luxurious time 🤗.

I've never seen Kochira Masamune before even though it's from a brewery next door to my hometown 😳.
I heard that they distribute to ryotei (Japanese-style restaurants) and high-class hotels and don't retail 😆 so it's very rare 😆.

I too had a bottle of "that" Shirataka at ⁉️😳.
It is a special honjozo and I was surprised at the quality of the sake. I think it's worth looking for and drinking, so please give it a try 🙇♂️

Ryotei and luxury hotels😅....the oden restaurant I went to was a bit more laid back. If you don't have a reasonably priced restaurant nearby, your chances of drinking are going to drastically decrease 🤔You were lucky to get to the hunt early 🤣.
