On the last day of the Kohoku - Saba Kaido road trip, we visited Hibi Brewery ❗️ to buy some souvenirs to close out the trip.
I was the only customer and I had to make an appointment to visit the brewery 😆.
Two women served me and they were very friendly and happy 😄.
They were selling three varieties: Akitsu Yamadanishiki, Kame-no-o and regular Yamadanishiki. There is a little space to park your car.
There are Shokoku, Tama no Hikari, Jyuseki, etc. in close proximity within walking distance, which is as expected of Fushimi.
The taste is very elegant 😋.
If I say it is like water, that would be the end of the story, but both sweetness and aroma are well hidden when you taste it well.
The side dishes are pumpkin tempura and horse mackerel tataki.
I think it goes well with Japanese food.
The photo shows the shoin at Ruriko-in and Katsura-rikyu. This is Shokintei seen from Gakuharo, do you see the checkered pattern small... 🧐.

ellie, I enjoyed your Kohoku - Saba Road report 🙏.
I've never been to the brewery here, so this will be helpful 😊I'd like to go there once.
I see you went to Katsura Rikyu too! This might be the one I envy the most 😆👍✨

Hi Pon 😃.
You can make reservations for Hibi Brewing online, but there is a time limit for visiting 🧐.
I enjoyed Katsura Rikyu more than I thought I would! We went around with a commentator and the man with the skinhead was wonderful.
