Houjun Tokubetsu Junmai Ochigarami Nama Shu 720ml
Rice polishing ratio 60
Alcohol content 14%.
I visited Kotani Sake Brewery near Beppu station on Saturday before a drinking party.
I learned a lot about Oita's sake. He recommended this sake, which is only available now.
I picked him up first thing Sunday morning and took him to Yufuin.
It is a sake from Usa, so of course it was my first time to try it.
It is made with Association No. 11 yeast and is said to be characterized by its high malic acid content.
The bottle was opened with a light "shupon". The second fermentation in the bottle had not progressed yet, so it might be better to wait a little longer for drinking time.
It has a modern, refreshing acidity, and is pirichiri delicious.
I was in Oita 16 years ago. At that time, I only had memories of Nishinoseki. It is changing a lot now, isn't it?

@Mizuhashi, Yufuin is nice,
I have fond memories of visiting there decades ago, but is it now full of Asian tourists anymore?

Harry, I hadn't been there in over a decade.
The crowd was so great that I thought it was Takeshita Street all the way to Kinrin-ko 🫨.
I guess the inbound ratio was about half?
There were quite a few liquor stores in Beppu too 😀.
